Audi also now has cars with natural gas, G-Tron calls it in Ingolstadt and is available for Audi A3, A4 and A5. An Audi A4 with natural gas engine – this may happen to most people first quite unsexy, but it is not. In terms of CO2 and nitrogen oxides, this is one of the top priorities.
The engine is powered by a 2.0-liter ottomotor with 170 hp and 270 newton-meters of torque. The sprint time is between 8.4 and 8.5 seconds, the maximum speed between 221 and 226 km / h – no matter whether gasoline or gas. Anything but unsexy, right?
In return, the G-Tron models cause fuel costs of approximately 3.50 euros per 100 kilometers in view of a stated standard consumption of around four kilograms of natural gas. In petrol, the standard consumption is about six liters, the costs are doubled. However, the natural gas models are also 2500 euros more expensive than a comparable strong petrol engine.
Just try it, the fuel is up to 2026 also tax-favored.
